Lucinda Oestreicher is best known for her paintings, prints and sculptures inspired by dwellings - houses, barns, sheds and shelters, from a thatched barn in Sussex to a shepherds hut in the Pyrenees.

An echo of a human presence is reflected in the buildings’
stance, shape andweight, a body language of sorts.
In the small oil paintings on paper, the relationship between colour, shape, layering and mark making is also explored, but without any reference to an obvious representational narrative.
Lucinda Oestreicher is a graduate of the Slade School of Art, Central School of Art, Corsham, Bath Academy of Art and Hornsey College of Art.
